Gratitude

If love is embodied in the sun,
which shines down on the flower,
then gratitude is the flower
growing into what it was meant to be.

Kind

You don’t always have to be right.
You don’t have to win the fight.
You can lose trying to win.
When the collateral damage comes in.
When the better choice to make.
Is to be kind in the first place.

Proverb – Troubles

There is no “small” fear if you are the one afraid.
There is no “petty” problem if it takes away from your peace.
There is no “little” pain if it’s hurting now.
For the more you judge other’s troubles, is the farther you are from helping them.
It does not take a yardstick to measure a problem; but a heart to understand it.

The Omni-benevolence of Grace

Imagine a God of Love so vast.
A heart that spans the length of all.
Imagine a Spirit of power that lifts all up,
And directs your very life’s call.

Imagine not a blemish or tarnish rests,
upon the pure cloak of God’s regard.
That God drapes upon you and calls you beloved.
No greater love is there, no greater reward.

So now picture the warmest hug you ever had.
Now multiply it by all of time and space.
Now give it to all who have lived and breathed.
And this is the omni-benevolence of Grace.
